In celebration of the lives of patients cared for over the years, the VNA volunteer group, Friends of Hospice, will sponsor the 7th annual VNA Tree of Remembrance ceremony on Sunday, December 4th.

Anyone in the community who wishes to remember a loved one this holiday season is invited to attend this heartwarming ceremony. Participants will receive a keepsake ornament to place on the VNA Tree of Remembrance. Ornaments are available through a donation amount of your choice, which will in turn help the VNA continue to provide hospice care to those in need.

The VNA Tree of Remembrance ceremony will begin at 7:00 P.M. with doors opening at 6:30 P.M., at the Valparaiso Family YMCA located at 1201 Cumberland Crossing in Valparaiso.  If you are not able to attend the ceremony but would like to remember a loved one – your ornament will be placed on the tree and then mailed to you or a person of choice following the ceremony.

Those wishing to participate should send their loved one's name, photograph (if desired for a slide show at the ceremony) and a check made payable to the VNA Foundation to 2401 Valley Drive, Valparaiso, to be received by November 23rd.  For more information about the Tree of Remembrance ceremony, please contact the VNA Development office at 531-8049.
